Information handled automatically
Like most websites, our server may receive routine technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and request time in standard server logs. We use that data for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic troubleshooting.
Outbound link attribution
When you select a retailer or partner link, the site may record a first-party event containing the page or card that was clicked, the destination URL, a campaign label, and the event time. This launch does not attach that event to an AskFork account, nutrition profile, health record, or advertising audience. The click is recorded only to understand whether editorial links are useful and to reconcile commercial results.
Cookies and third-party analytics
The current AskFork Picks site does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not embed a third-party analytics SDK. If that changes, this notice and any consent controls will be updated before the new tracking goes live.
Retailers and external services
Retailer, evidence-source, email, and social links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Their collection starts under their policies once you leave AskFork Picks. We do not control their checkout, account, cookie, or payment systems.
Messages and creator inquiries
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include. We use it to answer the message, evaluate a partnership, or maintain a business record. Please do not send medical records, payment-card data, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Children
AskFork Picks is a general-audience editorial site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through this site.
Your questions
Contact support@askfork.com with a privacy question or request. We may need enough information to locate the relevant message or server record without collecting more than necessary.
