Plain-language disclosure

How paid links work.

AskFork Picks may earn money when a reader follows certain links or enters a clearly labeled commercial partnership. That relationship should always be obvious before you click.

Effective July 21, 2026

The short version

Disclosure: We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site. Our commercial relationships do not determine our selections.

Program-specific disclosure appears only with a paid link that is approved for this exact AskFork property and channel.

What counts as a paid link

A link marked “paid link,” “affiliate link,” or similar language may generate a commission for AskFork Picks if you make a qualifying purchase. The price you see at the retailer is not increased by our commission. Retailers, inventory, sellers, prices, and terms can change after publication.

How commercial relationships affect selection

They do not buy a ranking. Our launch list is based on category demand, label clarity, a defined use case, known trade-offs, and the quality of evidence behind the claims we repeat. A product can be popular and still receive a cautious review—or no recommendation at all.

Sponsored content, free samples, paid creator work, or direct brand relationships will be disclosed in the relevant article or video. A sponsored placement will never be presented as an independent ranking.

Creator and publisher partnerships

Partner creators use their own approved affiliate accounts and tags on their properties. AskFork-owned affiliate tags stay on approved AskFork-owned properties. We do not loan, sublicense, or quietly route third-party traffic through an affiliate tag. Any revenue sharing tied to a merchant program requires written permission under that program’s rules.

Questions

If a relationship is unclear, email support@askfork.com before relying on it.
