Web subscription checkout is not currently enabled. If it is enabled later, the live Stripe checkout page will show the exact price, currency, billing interval, trial terms if any, taxes, and renewal terms before payment.

Using AskFork

These terms apply when you use the AskFork website, AskFork Picks, and AskFork services. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to use the service where you live. Keep your account session secure and provide accurate contact information when you choose to verify an account.

Nutrition Estimates Are Not Medical Advice

AskFork provides directional food and drink estimates that may be incomplete or wrong. AskFork is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Do not rely on AskFork for emergencies, allergies, medication decisions, medical nutrition therapy, insulin dosing, or other clinical decisions. Contact a qualified professional for individual medical advice.

Photos, Text, and Account Content

You may submit only content you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful content, another person's confidential information, or material intended to harm the service. You keep ownership of your content. You give AskFork permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service under the Privacy Policy.

AskFork Picks and Retailer Orders

AskFork may publish editorial comparisons and clearly disclosed paid affiliate links. AskFork is not the retailer, seller, manufacturer, fulfillment provider, or merchant of record for products reached through those links. The retailer controls price, availability, payment, shipping, subscriptions, cancellations, warranties, returns, and refunds. Product information can change; verify the current label, ingredients, warnings, and retailer terms before buying or consuming a product.

Web Subscriptions

If a web subscription is offered, it is optional and requires a verified AskFork account. The checkout page will identify the plan, included benefits, price, currency, billing interval, trial terms if any, taxes, and when the first charge occurs. A subscription automatically renews for the interval shown at checkout until cancelled.

Stripe processes web subscription payments. You may cancel and manage the payment method or invoices through the Stripe customer portal linked from your AskFork profile. Unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period; cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier charge. Contact support@askfork.com about a duplicate or incorrect charge. Statutory cancellation and refund rights continue to apply.

AskFork may suspend paid access for an unpaid invoice, fraud, abuse, chargeback, or material violation of these terms. AskFork will not intentionally leave an active recurring charge attached to a deleted account; an active subscription must be cancelled or scheduled for cancellation before account deletion completes.

Apple Purchases

Apple processes the paid iPhone app download and any eligible future in-app purchase. Apple's purchase, billing, refund, and App Store terms apply to those transactions. A web subscription, if offered, is separate and will not be presented inside the iPhone app unless the distribution and payment flow complies with Apple's requirements.

Acceptable Use

Do not probe or bypass security controls, automate abusive traffic, interfere with other users, scrape protected data, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent payment or referral events, or use AskFork to violate a law or a third party's rights. AskFork may limit or suspend access to protect users, partners, and the service.

Availability and Changes

AskFork may change, pause, or discontinue features. When a paid feature materially changes, AskFork will provide notice appropriate to the change and honor rights required by applicable law. Product rankings, retailer links, AI providers, and external services may also change without notice.

Disclaimers and Responsibility

AskFork is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. AskFork does not promise that estimates, product information, external links, or the service will always be accurate, complete, secure, or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
